We finally received the entries and there are some really creative ways to see the alphabet in the world around us! This was a challenge I posed to the attendees at my seminar at WPPI. The images were created in Las Vegas and the winner of this contest gets $1000 worth of goodies from Kubota Image ToolsSmugMugBayPhoto LabTamracSticky FiltersAsukabook, and more!

Visit this gallery on SmugMug and vote for your favorite: http://bit.ly/ctr5p5

Tell your friends to check it out and vote too, the photographers who played will appreciate it :-)

I'm a big fan of this art form - and I appreciate the peeps who "see" it so much quicker than I ;-)

Hey I posted my images for this contest on Facebook on March 11 while I was still in Vegas - Did I not submit my images correctly to be entered for this contest? I don't see my entry on the page.... Is there something I can do to remedy this? I was so excited about the contest!

I think this is an excellent tool for up and coming, and established, photographers to get their work out there for free, maintain copyright to their photos, and win some excellent prizes. Another similar tool is str8photography.com
They offer Photo Challenges as well, while also allowing photographers to get their work seen for free, receive credit, and still maintain their copyright privileges. They also offer HDR and SLR basics and tutorials, some of the best Photoshop tutorials I have been able to find on the net, and much more. It is one of my favorite Photography resources on the net.
