Photographer with big heart needed this friday in Seattle

Wedding photographers: do something wild and crazy this friday - help a stranger in need. I wish I could help her, but I can't. Can any of you? Please read and pass it on if you can't personally help out.

---Message from a friend---

I'm asking for some help very humbly today. I am a photographer in Columbia, MO. I am supposed to shoot a wedding for my good friend and up and coming musician, Hilary Scott on Friday, May 27 in Seattle, WA.

I have a 6 year old son who is bipolar. He has recently become incredibly unstable and has been attacking adults in school and home. He's been sent home 4 out of the last 6 days of school for being aggressive towards adults. We are working around the clock with his doctors to get his med's figured out, but this morning I am realizing that I may not actually be able to leave town next week to shoot this wedding. It's highly likely we will need to admit him to a psychiatric hospital for his safety and the safety of others' around him.

Because Hilary is my friend and I've photographed her for years, I was giving my services to them as a wedding gift. Before I started typing this, it sounded so easy... just email a few photographers you know in the NW and ask if they know anyone who is willing to shoot this wedding for free to help out someone they don't even know. Now I'm realizing how ridiculous this sounds. I'm trying to figure out how I can take care of this the best for my friend and especially for my family. If you know of anyone in the Seattle area who is interested in increasing their charma a zillion fold... please contact me.

Thanks for reading my message. Any help you can give me would be incredibly appreciated.

If I lived in the area I'd be happy to help you out. Sounds like a fun day. But a trip from South Australia to cover it might be asking too much. :)

It sounds like Stacie is able to make it to Seattle and heard from a lot of people. Just letting people know in case you wanted reach out to her. If she is detained by weather, she may need our help. :)
